Since August 1997, the Macromolecule and Vaccine Stabilization Center has been providing services to various clients for characterization, stabilization and formulation of protein pharmaceuticals and vaccine antigens.

The Center is funded through government grants, research collaborations, and fee-for-service contracts.

The Center also trains graduate students in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Bioengineering departments at KU, as well as post-doctoral researchers.
